Overview of the Session:
Walkers Professional Services (WPS) faced challenges and widespread data inconsistencies across customer accounts and sites after implementing an FBDI-based integration between Viewpoint and Oracle Fusion. Poor error visibility and flawed update logic created significant mismatches in customer, contact, and site data—introducing operational risk and forcing a shift to manual, time-intensive reconciliation.
Additionally, sales order processing exposed FBDI's limitations: complex templates, heavy IT reliance, and fragmented logs that slowed issue resolution and reduced business user confidence.
